My job in Manufacturing Engineering often requires that a manufacturing process be improved or modified to meet an urgent need. Recently an employee operating a small crimping press expressed a concern that the electrically interlocked safety ram block on his press physically interfered when dies were changed.

I followed the normal process whereby our General Stores Representative recommended a local distributor for safety supplies. The result was a product that did not quite meet our needs; a price that seemed excessive; and a 3 to 4 week delivery.

I did a search on the Internet and found several distributors offering exactly what I was looking for a very competitive price. I wrote E-mails and left phone messages with 3 different distributors. I soon received a return call from Jim at Stampersstore. He was able to answer all my questions and confirm availability of the product I wanted. The order was placed on that Wednesday and by Monday afternoon; the ram block was in place.

StampersStore has earned a place in my directory and I look forward to doing business with them again.
