The Scrap Chopper has a unique helical-ground blade which chops a variety of materials from .004 inch thick paper to 3/16 inch cold rolled steel without adjustment.  Once installed, any number of stock thicknesses and widths can be fed into the chopper without any additional set up time.

With the Scrap Chopper mounted on your machine you eliminate the need for air blow-offs, sheet metal chutes, conveyors and rakes used by operators to get the scrap out of the tool area and into containers for recycling.
 

Providing one chopper per press can save the cost of designing and building guillotine choppers for every die.

Rugged cast iron construction with few moving parts assures maintenance-free production.  The Reel-Type scissor action reduces off center loading by chopping a width of one 14 times the maximum material thickness at one time regardless of total stock width.
